How It Works
Jagged Fitness is solely an in-home personal training service. This means a highly qualified personal trainer will show up at your doorstep with a personalized program, all necessary gym equipment and a great attitude to get you motivated for the workout ahead.
Your personal trainer will unload all necessary equipment in the area of your home preferred to workout in. This can vary from the living room, garage or basement, the choice is yours. Once the workout is complete, your trainer will reload all equipment back into the Jagged Fitness Mobile Gym, leaving your home just as it was prior to the workout.
Each workout is one-hour long, consisting of a proper warm up, workout & cool-down. The program will be specific towards your wants and needs, helping you get closer to your goals each & every session. All you have to do is be ready to put in the work, we will do the rest!
Jagged Fitness offers the tools, resources and training to live a better life. We teach clients to move properly, live healthy and reach their fitness goals.
OUR SERVICES
Our coaching philosophy is to bring the “personal” into training. With our in home personal training sessions, we believe that in order to reach the goals you’ve set out to achieve, it must be done by taking into account exercise, nutrition, hydration, recovery and stress. Expect to be educated during and after your training sessions to instill healthy sustainable habits. Our warm ups consist of mobility, increasing the heart rate, dynamic stretches, muscle activations and corrective exercise if needed. Getting into the workout itself, you will go through movements related to your goals and that your body is asking for as well. Lastly, during the cool down, expect to go through deep stretches either through proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation or by holding yoga poses for an extended period of time.
Our coaching philosophy stated above translates into all of our services. If you and your significant other, friend or family member have the same goal in mind, this is the right service for you! Expect to go through a series of exercises that involve partnering up to keep you both engaged and having fun, all while working towards your goals.
Jagged Fitness has an excellent reputation when it comes to Large Group Training. Community is very important to us, which is why we offer Large group training classes. It allows for camaraderie to be built amongst the members in the class and creates a dynamic that you love to keep coming back for more! Large Group Training is the only service that is held outside. The location will be based at a park within the town of everyone attending. Due to being outside, it is held only in the good weather months from May to September. Expect possible schedule changes due to uncontrollable weather conditions. Max amount of people per class is ten and minimum amount is seven. In order to sign-up for large group training, due to limited spots available, it is mandatory to pre-pay for a minimum of three months.
This option is great for two couples, a group of friends or a family that all have similar goals, fitness levels & similar scheduling. Your personal trainer can either consistently meet at one of your houses or vary every time, the choice is up to the group. The class is maxed out at four people to allow your trainer to personalize the program & give detailed correction throughout every workout.
The first step in writing a program that is right for you entails filling out a health, fitness and nutrition questionnaire. Once the proper information has been filled out, one of our highly qualified fitness professionals will write up your specific exercise program.
You will receive two personal training sessions. An assessment workout which will help define your starting points for how much weight to lift, how many sets/reps to perform, which stretches you need to do during warm-ups & figure out your cardio baseline. The post program personal training session is the second session which we will perform all movements done in the assessment workout, however at an extreme intensity to record the progress made. If you are out of state this will be done through zoom video call.
Knowing how to adjust your diet to reach your weight loss goals can be overwhelming. We believe in making small changes in one’s diet, to allow for a sustainably healthy lifestyle. One of our highly qualified fitness professionals will break-down the changes needed to have you reach your goals. You will receive four nutrition consultations, each being one hour long. They will be held either in person at your home or through a zoom video call, the choice is yours. You will have one nutrition consult per week, creating a sustainable and healthier lifestyle through small changes. Expect to add food, supplement and hydration in or out depending on how you’re feeling. Any goal you may have, this is the proven method we’ve found to have worked and continues to work with our clients.

Jacob is very easy to work with and has been open to listening to what I like/don’t like to tailor a program to keep me motivated while still challenging me to get out of my comfort zone. I tend to be more goal oriented, so for me, he created a solid program with clear start and end times with expectations and targets for improvements by the end of the cycle.
