Cardio workouts always seem to be the go-to form of fitness for those trying to lose weight. Give Your Resting Metabolic Rate a Boost

Your body can still burn calories while you are at rest – as long as you increase your resting metabolic rate (RMR). This rate tells us the rate at which calories are burned while at rest. To increase it, you need muscles. The more you work them through strength training, the higher your RMR.
